So about a year ago I found a very cheap Time Crisis 4 + Guncon3 for PS3. The game is amazing however the Guncon3 only works for the single game. I've searched and searched for solutions, answers, or simply just a way to use this lightgun for anything else. Its USB however there aren't any USB Drivers for windows. Under linux it shows up as 'Zeroplus Xbox Controller' in lsusb.Anyone out there able to reverse engineer one of these to work with the PC? Kinda like how they did it for the six axis, wiimote, kinect? I know nothing about hacking or even coding for that matter, so I come here to hackaday to hopefully ask you amazing hackers to help.-Thank you.

So theres no way I could write a driver for this. However if there is someone that knows how to write a driver I'd be more than happy to help in any way I can since I have the actual device.Also I've looked around at USB sniffing and whatnot but for the most part you need drivers to actually read the raw input. Re: WinGun Guncon2 Driver Project. Turning the syncs + or - or composite in the displays drivers all worked fine. In composite sync mode it sends the composite sync out on the H-sync pin if I recall correctly. Composite sync does not work with the circuit I made, you need the syncs seperate.
